Nancy Crim

Nancy Ann Crim, 64, of Waco, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2004, in a Dallas hospital, and is now, in her own words, "Looking into the face of Jesus Christ." A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2004 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church, 614 Oak Grove Loop in China Spring, with the Rev. Richard Sellers, pastor, officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.

Nancy was born January 14, 1940, in Springfield, Ill. To William and Lucille (Robb) Obcamp. She moved to Waco 29 years ago and raised her family here. She was the Operations Manager for Ahlers & Associates of Waco, and the she just recently celebrated her 25th year with the company.

Nancy was everyone's mom. She was very loving and caring, and the friendliest person in the world. She loved everyone and always treated everyone the same. Her grandchildren meant everything to her, and she lived for her church family. She cherished her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Billy Crim, in 1974.

Nancy is survived by one son, Robbie Crim and wife, Wannetta of Lancaster; one daughter, Lori Clinard and husband, Eddy of Waco; a special person she considered to be a granddaughter, Tammy Thulen and husband Allen of Waco; four grandchildren, Nancy Colgrove and husband, Mace of Illinois, Tiffany Crim of Palmer, Texas, Joey Glenn of Waco, and Justin Crim of Otto; two great-grandchildren, Clark Koeholler and Kyle Colgrove of Illinois. She also leaves her dogs which she especially loved.

Pallbearers will be Gary Flickin, Al Smith, Bob Dobecka, Dwayne Schwarting, Billy Lothen, Gary Stokes, and Mike Milligan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Barbara Prause, Barbara Schwarting, Kirk Thorpe, Sissy Baron, Sue Burdett, Lynda Fletcher, Joyce Worthem, Tom King, Susan Moore, Kathy Bartlett, Phyliss Shows, Martha Stapp, Sue Burdett, Iris Talley, and Elaine Yarbrough.
