Nancy was born October 6, 1945 in Denison to Raymond Sherwood Bailey and Lola Mable Rose Bailey. She married Patrick Joseph Sullivan December 30, 1960 and built a family of six daughters and a son. She married William Davis June 17, 1996. Her children knew her as the peacemaker because she wanted her family to live in harmony. She worked in the home to foster strong morals and ethics in her children.
As family issues arose, family talked to her for sound advice because she had the gift to look beyond flaws and see the importance of reconciliation. After her children were grown, her servant heart led her into nursing, where she cared for patients for 20 years. She filled her last days loving unconditionally and helping everyone around her, despite her health complications.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lola Bailey; brother, William Bailey; husband, William Davis; previous husband, Patrick Sullivan; grandson, Chris Barker; and son-in-law, David Hughes.
She is survived by her daughters, Patty Barker and husband, Allen, Lillian Hughes, Kathy Bostdorf and husband Marty, Nancy Sullivan, and Christina and Mark Galindo, and Brandy Loredo; son, Patrick Sullivan and Christi; 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen Barker, Mark Galindo, Jeff Dempsey, Kevin Hughes, Diego Loredo, Shawn Sullivan, Travis Sullivan, and Joseph Wostal.
