Frances Naoma Walden, 74, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Austin Memorial Cemetery with Ernie Christie officiating.
Naoma was born Feb. 3, 1934, in Cherokee, to Glenn and Allegra Randolph. Naoma married Burford Walden in 1953. She lived most of her life in Austin before moving to Waco in 1998. Naoma was a member of Lake Shore Church of Christ.
Naoma was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by two daughters, Denys King and husband, James of China Spring, and Dana Walden of Waco; and a grandson, James Randolph King of Edmond, Okla.
The family thanks the MICU nurses at Hillcrest Hospital. The family requests memorials to Cherokee Children's Home.
