Nelda Ruth Hines Martin, 72 of Woodway, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2007 at a local hospital.
Services will be 11:30 am Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Nelda was born on April 26, 1935 in Olton to C.T. and Beatrice Hines. She graduated from Midwestern State University and later married Bill O. Martin of Paris, Texas on August 25, 1957. She was an educator throughout most of her life, teaching various grade levels, special education and art. She was a loving wife, caring mother and devoted grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 1990.
She is survived by Laurie Martin Guest and husband Ray, Roderick Mart, Tani Martin Caudle and husband Terry, grandson, Rush Guest, and brother, Curtis Hines and wife Betty.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may me made to your charity of choice in her name.
