Nick M. Salvato, 40, of Hewitt, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery by Rev. Kevin Mullen. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at OakCrest Funeral Home.
He was born May 19, 1967 in Marlin to Felix and Stella Salvato. He was preceded in death by his father. Nick was loved by his family, and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; step-children, Anthony Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, Gilbert Juarez and Stacy Kennedy; mother, Stella Salvato; brothers, Felix, Frank and Carlos Salvato, and sisters, Sarah Hernandez and Fena Lopez; special grandson, Junebugg; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, and his beloved dog, Cheve.
