September 24, 1965 to November 10, 2007
Nicky William D'Alessandro, Jr., 42, of Waco, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007 in Quality Care Nursing Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, at Victorious Life Fellowship Church, 7459 S. Interstate 35. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Nicky was born Sept. 24, 1965 in Odessa to Nicky D'Alessandro and Doris Deckert D'Alessandro. He graduated from Midway High School in 1985. He was an avid sports fan who could readily recall team information and stats for all the major sports. He was a member of Victorious Life Fellowship Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dean D'Alessandro, and his maternal grandparents, Geneva and Robert Deckert.
He is survived by his mother, Doris D'Alessandro of Hewitt; father, Nick D'Alessandro and stepmother, Sandy, of Dallas; two sisters, Sharon Pace and husband, Larry, of League City, and Karen Marecle of Forney; brother, Robert D'Alessandro of Hewitt; two aunts, Linda Rose of Garland and Rose Ashby and husband, John of Eldorado, IL; maternal grandmother, Flossie Cook of Waxahachie; and four nephews and a niece.
Pallbearers will be Tom Whitfield, Darrell Shaw, Sam Shaw, Gell Kingery, Richard Rose, and Karl Rose.
The family especially thanks the staff of Quality Care for taking care of Nicky and loving him as their own.
