Nora Navejas Rodriguez, 54, of Waco, Texas entered into her heavenly home on Wednesday the 10th of November 2021. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 18th, 2021, at First Spanish Assemble of God Church of Waco, Texas, with Rev. Frank Alvarado and Pastor Angel Alvarado Sr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Nora was born on December 19, 1966, in Waco, Texas to Jose Villa and Juanita (Garcia) Navejas. She attended schools in Katy, Texas and graduated from Katy High School in 1985. Nora was a loving, kind, and selfless person, and could be so funny, always making everyone laugh. She loved her family and was happiest around them. At church she met the love of her life, handsome Daniel Rodriguez, they were married for 34 wonderful years. She loved being in the presence of the Lord, worshipping and praying every Sunday, and serving the Lord’s Supper each first Sunday. Her faith was a big part of her life.
Known as “Nani Mom” to her grandchildren. Nora adored her grandchildren and she always spent time with them. She attended every one of JoJo’s baseball tournaments, and always said he’s going to the big leagues! He was her pride and joy! Emilio was her Joker; she enjoyed all the funny things he’d say. Eliana was her princess. Ellie ‘s a little feisty, but Nani knew how to be with Ellie. It’s been said Eliana resembles so much of her Nani Mom. She loved how sweet and precious Baby Angel was.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Nora is survived by husband, Daniel, mother, Juanita G. Navejas; daughters, Marissa Alvarado and husband Angel, Sr., and Kiki Rodriguez; grandchildren, Joseph, Emilio, Eliana and Angel, Jr. “Juni” Alvarado. Her siblings; Joe Navejas, Vince and Mari Navejas, Sonia and Abaham Suarez, Martha and Paul Quick, Jesse and Raquel Navejas, and Joel and Tanya Navejas, as well as countless nieces and nephews.
