Norman B. Price, 68, of Waco, died Monday, October 22, 2007 at his residence surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Waco Memorial Park Masoleum Chapel with Ivan Ker officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Norman was born in Harper, Kansas to Roy and Gladys Price. He graduated from Harper High School in 1957 and married his wife of 49 years, Linda Kay Price (Barnes) of Milton, Kansas. He was active with his kids coaching them in sports, active in Scouts and in his church. He was an avid model railroader and enjoyed fishing and traveling.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward Price and Wayne Price and his son, Kenneth Roy Price.
Norman is survived by his wife; sons, Thomas Price of China Spring and Jerry and wife, Natasha Price of Austin; daughter Susie and husband Dana Light of Bosqueville; grandchildren, Leann Price of Lorena, Vladik Price of Austin, Katy, Daniel and Dalton Light of Bosqueville; great-grandson Evan Norman; his foster daughter, Barbara and husband Jeff Loud of Tacoma and foster grandchildren, Austin and Melanie Loud.
