Octavio Bermudez Lopez

It's with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Octavio Bermudez fondly known as Papi Joe. Octavio was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on July 15, 1940 and was called to be with the Lord in the city of Waco, Texas on December 20, 2024.

He will be remembered for being a loving father, a talented writer, an avid gardener and a great cook.

He left behind his 4 children, Ruth, Vivian, Carmen and Joseph; grandchildren, Carlos, Karyl, Alexander, Gabriella, Joseph and Jaime; and his 6 great grandchildren.

To honor his memory, a service will be held at OakCrest Funeral Home on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
