Olga Garcia

Olga Serrato Garcia, 52 of Waco, passed on to Heaven to meet our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, September 22, 2003, at her residence surrounded by her beloved family.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.

Graveside services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2003, at OakCrest Funeral Home with family visitation to follow. A memorial videotape of Olga's life will be shown continuously during the visitation.

Olga was born February 11, 1951, in Waco. She was a dedicated and devoted wife, and a loving and caring mother, and grandmother. She also dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She was a faithful, trusted, compassionate, caring, and most of all, a loving and tender person. She will be remembered for always putting others before herself.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Serrato, Sr., and daughter, Deanna Garcia.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Danny G. Garcia; two sons, Michael Angelo Garcia and his wife Lori, and Ronnie Daniel and his wife Jennifer; daughter, Danielle Antoinette Garcia; four grandchildren, David Adrian, DeAnna Marie, Michael Angelo Jr., and Jacob Christian Garcia; mother, Mrs. Ophelia Serrato; a sister, Theresa Serrato; two brothers, Albert and his daughter Ashley, and Willie Serrato, Jr. and his wife Irma, all from Waco.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Christopher Tissier, and Joe, Eric, Greg, and Guillermo Serrato.
