Otto Ludwig "Buster" Zimmerman, 89, of Waco, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2006. Graveside services will be held May 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Waco Memorial Park with visitation Friday from 6 to 8 pm at Oak Crest Funeral Home
Bosque Blvd.

Mr. Zimmerman was born January 8, 1917, in Cuero, Texas. He graduated from Yoakum High School in 1935. He graduated from Curtis Wright Technical School in Pasadena, California, and worked over 30 years in aviation and aerospace, retiring from Rocketdyne Aviation. He served in the 20th Air Force in WW II and was a flight engineer on B-29 bombers.

He married Ruth Lance on December 24, 1940, in Hillsborough, Texas. She preceded him in death in October 2000. He is survived by one son, Lance Zimmerman of Waco, brother Dellie Voelkel and wife Doris of Kerrville, sister-in-law Rose Curtis of Tyler, close friends John and Carol Kolinek, Jerry and Martha Caddell, Brock and Linda Morris, Janet and Brian Ginsburg, Elton and Peggy Stuckly, and many nieces and nephews, friends, and relatives.
