Patricia Fay Eason, 86, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2021 at Waco Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Waco, Texas.
Patricia lived her life loving God wholeheartedly only striving to please Him and make it to heaven one day. She was an active member of Seymour Christ Temple for many years playing her saxophone to worship and praise God.
She later moved to Perrysburg, Ohio to be near her only daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters. She faithfully attended the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Toledo, Ohio where her son-in-law pastored for 20 years.
In April of 2021, she moved to Waco, Texas with her immediate family to begin a new adventure. Unfortunately, her health quickly declined and she had to move into a long term facility. The staff and residents of Waco Healthcare and Rehabilitation quickly welcomed her with open arms and claimed her as family. She resided there until her passing on December 16, 2021. Although she was physically able to only attend New Life Tabernacle in Mexia, Texas once, she proudly proclaimed that she was a member and prayed daily for the church to grow and be blessed.
Born on August 9, 1935, she was a daughter to Ralph and Doris Gray. She married Rev. Eugene Eason on November 28th, 1968. He preceded her in death on June 6th, 1976.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Erridine, and two sisters, Bonnie and Deborah.
Survivors include a daughter; Eugenia F. Stonerock, a son-in-law; Rev. Kirk Stonerock, two granddaughters; Aubrey D. Stonerock and Chloe R. Stonerock. Her brother, Bernard, and sisters, Betty and Nadine also survive and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to the past and present Waco Healthcare and Rehabilitation staff and Bluebonnet Hospice for the special love and care given to Patricia.
