Patrick Denton

Patrick O. Riley Denton, 53, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with his family will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.

Patrick was born in Houston April 11, 1958 to Robert Denton and Donna Panknin-Denton. He graduated from University High School and later graduated from TSTC in Waco with a degree in Computer Science. He worked for Universal Computer Systems in Houston for over 20 years as a programmer and most recently began commuting from Waco so he could be close to his family. Patrick loved playing poker, fishing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was known by several quotes "Let's go" and "I may be old, but I got to see all the cool bands"!

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Patrick is survived by his son, Patrick Denton; daughter, Melissa Kaiser; granddaughter, Ember Kaiser; his sister, Diane Denton-Davis; several step brothers; and one step sister.
