Patsy Boyd Lothlen, 81, of Woodway, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 surrounded by her family at Providence Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. David Story officiating. Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum. Visitation with her family will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Patsy was born March 17, 1931 in Hillsboro to Lewis Tillman Boyd and Frances Mildred Pryor Boyd. Patsy graduated from Waco High School in 1949. She married Glenn W. Lothlen the 10th of March in 1955. Patsy worked for Crawford-Austin as a secretary for many years and during the time when the Tornado hit downtown Waco.

She was a member of Richfield Christian Church.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Jay Wayne Boyd and Jerry Don Boyd.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Glenn W. Lothlen of Woodway; her son, Jeff Lothlen and wife, Becky of Axtell; two daughters, Lisa Messer and husband, Leonard of Woodway and Laura Geisler of Waco; sisters-in-law, Shirley Boyd and Barbara Boyd; 5 grandchildren, Holly McHargue, Michael Lothlen, Paula Geisler, Keith Geisler and Kendall Messer; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hillcrest Clinic Midway and the nurses and staff at Bluebonnet Home Health Care for their care of Patsy.

In lieu of floral arrangements, the family requests memorials in Patsy’s memory to be directed to Richfield Christian Church, 4201 Cobbs Drive Waco, TX 76710.
