Patty Annette Flaten
February 14, 1960 – September 21, 2007

Patty Annette Flaten , 47, of Waco passed away on Friday, September 21, 2007. Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., with Don Hanlon Johnson officiating.

Patty was born in Dallas, Texas on Feb 14, 1960 to William and Josepha Holifield. She was raised in Amarillo, and graduated from Alamo Catholic High School in 1978. She moved to Waco in 1980 and attended McLennan Community College. She married Jeff Flaten in 1983.

Patty was a Realtor in Waco for over 20 years. She cherished her relationships with her many clients and fellow Realtors. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. Patty had a unique quality that could always make you smile. She was a free spirit in the truest form, one who will be deeply missed by all those lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Josepha Mary Adams.

Patty is survived by her husband, Jeff; sons, Joshua and Zachary; sister, Barbara Ann Holifield of Mill Valley, Ca.; nieces and nephews, Eric and Aaron Adams of Anchorage, Alaska, Joyce Yannuzzi of New Braunfels, Tx., Tano Johnson of Mill Valley, Ca., Amy Flaten, Kristen and Derrick Garcia of Kerrville, Tx., Laura and Greg Norfleet of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and grandson, Cade Taylor Flaten of Waco.
