Paul Henry Pieri LLB , 78, of Waco, went into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, May 24, 2012.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. led by Deacon Greg George.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 2, at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Houston.

Paul was born November 3, 1933 in Houston, to Francis Leon Pieri and Margaret Dowling. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to all that knew him.

Paul attended school at Immaculate Conception, St. Thomas High School, and the
University of Houston completing his under graduate and Law degree. He was a founding
member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity Chapter at U of H.

After returning from service in the Army he was united in marriage to Barbara Talley at St. Vincent Church, Houston. Paul lived his entire life in Houston before moving to Waco in 2009 to be near his children and grandchildren.

His professional talents were utilized in the Natural Gas industry with Columbia Gulf
being his longest association as Vice President. After early retirement in 1996 he
continued doing legal work in his Community.

He was always available to family and friends that needed some legal advice and so enjoyed continuing to use his good skill. He was very much admired in his livelihood as he was with his family and friends. Paul loved sports with GOLF being his passion and discussing with his Golf Buddies the almost Hole in One.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother, J. L. Pieri.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Lynn and husband, Mark Guion of
Dallas; sons, Parker and wife Ruth Ann Pieri, Waco, and Brian and wife Amy of Manitou
Springs, Colo.; brothers (Ret) Lt. Col. Francis Pieri and wife Billie, Michael and wife
Jeanette, C. J. and wife Linda, Thomas and wife Linda; and five grandchildren, Catherine
and Michael Pieri, Sean and Kyle Guion, and Allison Pieri.
