Pete Ortiz Martinez, Sr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 8, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his 12 brothers and sisters; his father, Camilo Martinez; his mother, Hortencia Martinez; and daughter, Martha Elaine Kroll.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Florencia R. Martinez of Chilton, TX; sons, Pete Martinez, Jr. of Waco, TX and Adam L. Martinez and his wife, Jennifer, of Ringgold, GA.; son-in-law, Gene Kroll of Mart, TX; and grandsons, Joshua, Tyler, Jaeson, of Waco, Tx., and Austin and Jack Martinez of N. Georgia.
