Price Brock

Lt. Col. Price Wayne Brock, USAF Ret., 80, of McGregor, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Story officiating. Burial will follow at Boggy Cemetery on FM 219 near Clifton. Visitation with the family will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Price was born August 11, 1930 to Price C. and Grace Stubbs Brock in Cranfills Gap. He grew up in Valley Mills and graduated from Valley Mills High School and from the University of Texas at Austin. He retired from the US Air Force with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after 21 years of service. Price then worked another 10 years for the University of Texas at Austin.

Price is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Jean Brock; daughters, Brenda Brock Alexander and Sandra Brock Hinson and husband, Horace; son, Brad Wayne Brock and wife, Kay; grandchildren, Justin Wayne Alexander and wife, Angela, Alex, Rita and Kenny Brock and Brock, Stephanie and Bailey Hinson; and great grandchildren, Walker and Ava Grace Alexander.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Rev. David Story, the staff of Hillcrest Hospice and all neighbors and friends for their love and support.
