Rachel Ileen Barnett Fritsch, 83, of Waco, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Dr. Lynn Parks and Brother Bill Pack officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service. Burial will be later at Oakwood Cemetery.
Rachel was born December 11, 1928 in Waco to John M. Barnett and Ivy Barnett. She attended Waco schools and resided in Waco for the remainder of her life. She married Charles Fritsch March 31, 1946. From this marriage she had a son, Milton, and a daughter, Sue. Rachel was an active member of North Waco Baptist Church for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents, and three sisters.
She is survived by her son, Milton and wife Belle, and her daughter, Sue, and her granddogs, Charly, Sam, Bonnie and Clyde; a nephew, John Burton and wife Laura and their three daughters.
The family gives many thanks to two very special friends and caregivers, Alex Wood and Mary Beth Parker.
