Ralph W. Carrigan, 77, of Woodway, passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 at his residence.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 29 at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. John A. Dirk and Dawn Gilliland officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence, 1884 Hannah Hill Rd, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, November 28.
Mr. Carrigan was born October 26, 1931 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to John W. Carrigan and Clara Mae Carrigan. He was employed by Starcraft as a sales manager retiring after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Southwest Officials Association in football, basketball and baseball. He was a Mason and a member of Woodway First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Carrigan married Leslie Jo Crook on December 21, 1953 in Waco.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Leslie Jo Crook Carrigan; sons, Monty Carrigan and wife, Marlene of Waco and Mickey Carrigan of Hewitt; daughter, Kay Lott and husband, Craig of Woodway; sister, Delores Cantrell and husband, Norm of Houston; grandchildren, Candis Carrigan, Teresa Toten, Zachary and Tyler Carrigan, Brandi and Clint Lott; 4 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Jeff Gifford of Katy.
Memorials may be directed in Ralph's name to the Woodway First United Methodist Church Building Fund or to the Hewitt Fire Department.
