Raymond Rodriguez, 50, of Waco, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Rev. C. Benjamin Magnaye as Celebrant, burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Raymond was born in Hillsboro, Texas. He attended Tennyson Middle School and Jefferson Moore. He worked for the Mike Cantu Paint Company for many years. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys (win or lose), shooting pool, bar-b-ques with family and friends, love to hi side and spread the love.

Raymond was a very supportive and caring son, father, brother, and uncle always there for his family. As a teen he loved to break dance, and was very good at it.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Ramirez, Jr., and Selestino Rodriguez.

Raymond is survived by his parents, Carolina and Ascension Ramos; children; Johnny Ray Aleman, Raymond Rodriguez, Jr., and Aaliyah Caressa Rodriguez; granddaughter, Jazlyn Aleman; his siblings, Sylvia Rodriguez, Selestino Rodriguez, Felisiano Rodriguez and wife, Yvonne, Antoinette Houston and husband, Justin, Dolores Rodriguez and Jaime Esquivel, Eugene Rodriguez and wife, Sylvia, Virginia Ramos, Victoria Ramos and Vincent Ramos; numerous aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are; Paul Jones, Cleto Marquez, Ignacio Garcia, Johnny Ramos, Jody Nevarez, and Greg Walker.

The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the Providence Hospice staff for the excellent care given to Raymond.
