Raymond Wiggs
Raymond W. Wiggs, 84, of Waco, passed away December 23, 2008, at Hillcrest Hospital of Waco.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home by Chaplain Curtis Holland.
Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.
Raymond was born January 24, 1924 in Waco. He served in the Army during World War II and Korea and earned four Bronze Stars.
When he returned to Waco, he worked as an aircraft mechanic for many years. He liked to shoot at the gun range, and was an expert cabinet maker and furniture finisher. He read constantly, especially educational books.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruby Wiggs; a son, Roger Wiggs and wife, Judy of Burleson; two grandchildren; and a sister, Laura Beth Farris of Waco.
