Becky was born October 4, 1966 to Ronnie and Betty Durham in Bowie, Texas. When
she was 4 years old the family moved to Weatherford, Texas. She graduated from Weatherford High School in May 1985 where she was member of the National Honor Society, the International Thespian Society and the coral department. She loved music and played
major roles in South Pacific, Music Man, Oklahoma and Bye, Bye, Birdie. In 1987 she
graduated from Weatherford College with an Associate in Arts. She had major roles in
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Foreigner, and Greater Tuna. From there she went
to Southwest Texas State University to pursue her degree in music and performed in
various musicals such as A Night on Broadway, Don Quito, A Mid Summers Night
Dream. While at Southwest Texas State University Becky was a member of Alpha Pi
Chapter of the Mu Phi Epsilon Fraternity.

She was an active member of the St. John United Church of Christ in Robinson where
many heard her beautiful voice when she sang in the choir. Becky's devotion to children
was continued through her work as Youth Director and Director of the VBS programs.

Becky is survived by her parents Ronnie and Betty Durham, her three sisters, Mary
Durham, Julie Durham and Lisa Olson, her brother-in-law Travis Olson, nephews Chase
Hatchett, Cody Olson, Nicholas Olson and her niece Savannah Olson.

Even though she never had any biological children, she was a loving caregiver to many
including her nephews and niece, all her children from the 15 years she taught at Little
Rockets Day Care and St. John United Church of Christ Youth. She loved all of them
unconditionally with all of her heart. She nourished them physically and spiritually,
found joy in their accomplishments and comforted them when they needed it.

Pallbearers will be Chase Hatchett, Travis Olson, Cody Olson, Nicholas Olson, Gerald Groppe and Greg Sims.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to our St. John United Church of
Christ family and her Little Rocket family for all the love, cards and visits made during
the last two years. We thank Scott and White Hospice at Hillcrest for taking such good
care of her during these last six weeks.

Memorials may be made to the St. John United Church of Christ Youth or to St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital.
