Reyes Martinez, 60, of Waco, Texas passed away on Sunday May 14, 2017. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at OakCrest Funeral Home, with burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Reyes was born January 6, 1957 in Coolidge, Texas to Anestacio Martinez and Maria Martinez Carbajal. She graduated from high school and received her Associates Degree in children’s education. Reyes was a bilingual interpreter for Care Options and a Teacher’s Assistant for Waco ISD.

Reyes is preceded in death by parents and niece Vanessa Sustaita.

She is survived by her son Christopher Loredo and wife Martika Loredo; grandchildren, Delilah Loredo, Xavier Loredo, Adileah Loredo, Diliah Yzaguirre, and Eliza Yzaguirre. Sisters; Janie Martinez, Florence Sustaita, Julie Moreno and husband Robert, Cecelia Olivarez and husband Erasmo, and Carol Perez and husband Mark all of Waco, brothers; Ted Martinez and wife Diane of Waco, and Ignacio Martinez and wife Monica of LaPorte, Texas, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Jon-Vincent Jimenez, Joshua Martinez and Luke Perez.

Pallbearers are: Andrew Sustaita, Daniel Olivarez, Eddie Zamora, Julian Rodriguez, Mark Uvalle and Mark Perez.
