Richard (Dick) G. Booth, 73, of China Spring, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Crestview Manor Nursing Home.. The family will hold private services later, with burial in Massachusetts.

Dick was born in Holyoke, Mass., to George and Mary Crawley Booth. He served in the U.S. Army, and later was a pilot for Eastern Airlines. He moved to Waco nine years ago after his marriage to his wife Jane, He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert; and sisters, Nancy Schafer and Mary Lou Beaulieu.

Surviving are his wife, Jane Booth; children from previous marriage, Sheryl,Howard, Robin and Tracy; step-children, Vonda Lawson-Rosa and husband, Joe, Brian Lawson, Greg Lawson and wife, Suzanne, and Heather Lawson; brother, Howard; and sisters, Barbara Leaper, Kathy Dzialo, Carol Sturgill, Linda Tush, and Janet Naslund; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
