Richard Hicks
Richard Malcolm Hicks was born to the late Bobbeye J. Warren Hicks and Frank Graves on May 29, 1956, in McGregor, TX. On Saturday morning, March 28, 2009, he made a peaceful transition to a heavenly life where there is no more sorrow, sickness, or pain.
He grew up in McGregor, where he attended G.W. Carver and graduated from McGregor High School in 1975. After graduation he joined the United States Navy.
His brother, Alvin Charles Hicks, grandparents, Linzie and Laura Warren and Sampson and Mary Graves, and several aunts, uncles and cousins preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory; a loving sister, Diedri D. Hicks, of McGregor; two loving brothers, Ronald D. Hicks and Anthony B. Hicks, both of Waco; a loving and devoted half brother, Carl D. Pleasant and wife, Margaret, of Temple; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and very, very special and devoted friends.
