Richard (Rick) Hunter O'Neal, 60 of Waco passed away on Saturday, February 9th at a local hospital. Services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at Church on the Rock, 4720 N. 19th St. with Pastor John Wachsmann to officiate. Family and Friends can pay their respects from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bridge City Fire Department in Bridge City, TX. Burial will be in the Orange Grove Grace Land Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA.
Richard was born on January 5, 1948 in New Orleans, LA to Merchant Davis and Julia Louise (Hunter) O'Neal. He was a paramedic for the Former Orange County Ambulance Service, Acadian Ambulance Service and Hillcrest Hospital. Richard was preceded in death by parents.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Allison Windwehen and husband Shane and Amanda Stanley and husband Todd; grandchildren, Chase Hannah, Caitlyn and Emily Windwehen; sisters, Judy Watson, Sharon Shoemaker, Sheila Teasley and husband Warren and Janie O'Neal.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Waco West Kidney Center, 730 West Hwy 6 Waco, Tx 76712
