Richard Rice

Richard “Dick” Rice, 70, of Hewitt, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, June 29 at Waco Memorial Park. Dick will be available for visitors to pay their respects on Sunday, June 28 from 9am to 4pm and before the service on Monday, from 8am to 12 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Dick was born August 6, 1944 in Waco. He served his country in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olan and Hazel (Jones) Rice, his sister, Jackie, and his daughter, Kimbra Layne Rice.
Dick leaves behind his beloved wife, Nancy Rice; son, Larry Rice and wife Kim; grandchildren, Karley and Kasey Rice; brother, Bill Rice; sister, Carrie Smith and husband Jim; and many dear in-laws, nieces and nephews that he cherished.
