Richard Wayne Tatum, 47, of Eddy, finished his earthly journey and returned to his Father in Heaven on Sunday, March 15, 2009 after a brave fight with cancer.

Richard is the son of Don and Martha Sue Tatum of Waco and was born February 28, 1962 in Plainview, Texas. A world without him will leave much lacking. His beloved pets who had passed on welcomed him to Heaven at the Rainbow Bridge. In honor of Richard's life, tell someone you love them, and then tell them again. Richard was an employee of the Waco Center for Youth for 21 years.

Richard leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Rebecca Lyn Hackman Tatum; his three adoring daughters, Alis, Denise and Alaura Tatum who will cherish the love he gave them; his parents; brother, Jim Bob and wife, Kim Tatum; sisters, Laura Tatum and Jennifer Tatum Scully and husband, Brian; numerous nieces, aunts, uncles, in-laws; and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Randy Clayton, Donnie Ingersol, Donnie Kramolis, D.A. Johnson, Joey Harrell, Johnny Jackson, Scott Woosley, Dennis Edwards and Carlos Valesquez.
