Richard C. Thompson of Waco, Texas, passed away August 15, 2024 at his home with his loving wife Donna Thompson by his side.

He is also survived by his daughter, Tammy Thompson; son, Robert Thompson; sister. Sondra Anderson; sister-in-law, Jennifer McMillan, and brother-in-law, Phillip McMillan.

Richard was an avid hunter who held the Boone & Crockett all time record for the biggest moose killed in Alaska. His picture was in 15 hunter magazines nationwide.

Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, August 22, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
