Frederick (Rick) Arthur Wagner, Jr., 63, of McCormick, South Carolina passed away Friday in Augusta, Georgia. Private Services will be held.

Rick was born in Waco, Texas to Mary Louise and Frederick Wagner, Sr. He married Christy Lee McMann on May 31, 1968 and later with his family returned to his hometown of Waco. He was a long-time employee of First City Financial J. Hawk Corporation until his retirement in 2003.

Rick and Christy moved to McCormick, South Carolina to enjoy their retirement together. His hobbies included golfing, boating, and traveling. He served as an officer in the Power Squadron Boating Organization in McCormick. Rick was active in the lives of his two children and seven grandchildren and took pride in their accomplishments.

Rick is survived by Christy Wagner, his wife of 39 years; his son Robert Scott Wagner and wife April; daughter Mary-Ann Foreman and husband Stan, all of Waco; cousin Nancy Whitworth of Austin; brothers-in law Charles McMann, William McMann and wife Judy, Stephen McMann and wife Shirley and Glenn Rollins, all of New Hampshire; grandchildren Meagan Wagner, James Foreman, Madison Wagner, Shelby Foreman, Annslee Wagner, Christopher Foreman, and Gabrielle Wagner, all of Waco.
