Rita Adams

We are sad to announce the departure of a dear friend, a wonderful aunt, a loving wife, and a devoted mother and grandmother, Rita Adams.

Rita was born on December 9, 1961 in Hollandale, Mississippi, and she passed away April 18, 2010. She was 48 years old. Services will be held in her honor at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Preceding her in death were her loving husband, Tom Adams III, known to his family and friends as T.A.; her aunt, Henrietta; her siblings, Betty Joe and Lewis Chandler, and her niece and nephew, Carrie and Timmy.

Rita was surrounded by her family and friends when she passed away. She is survived by her daughters, Beth and Brandi Adams of Waco; son, Branch Epperson and wife Edna; her five granddaughters, Olivia, Cali, Camri, Canari, and Oaklyn, all of Waco; brothers, Albert (Bud) Chandler, Michael Wayne Chandler, Edward Wayne Chandler; sisters, Shirley Scantling and husband Jimbo, Rosie Stairs and husband Mark Stairs, Johanne Chandler, and Vicky Chandler. Rita will be dearly loved and missed by family and friends.
