Robert Lee Clark, 85 of Waco, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 15 at Beacon Hill Baptist Church on the corner of Monte Vista and Bagby with Brother Jim Edmonds and Rev. Harley Gordon officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Robert was born April 21, 1925 in Mounds, Oklahoma to James Robert and Anna May (Loyd) Clark. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Robert was a nursing assistant with the V.A. Hospital until he retired.
He was a Christian and an inspiration to his family and many others. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. His legacy lives on.
He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Shelley Clark; sisters, Lorene, Lilliaan, Juanita and Pauline.
Robert is survived by his special companion, Joan Crane; daughters, Bonnie Garrett and husband, Don, and Lorene Notgrass and husband, Ned; son, Davis Clark; sister, Jean Edmonds and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Amber, Lisa, Nikki, Atina, Matthew and Keith; twelve great-grandchildren; and beloved dog, Kayley.
