October 22, 1950 – February 1, 2014

Robert L. Cuevas, 63, of Waco, died Saturday, February 1, 2014, with family by his side. The visitation will be 6 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, at St. Louis Catholic Church by Father John Guzaldo.

Mr. Cuevas was born in Alice, on October 22, 1950. He was married to Silveria Jimenez Cuevas for 44 years. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His grandsons brought him so much joy.

Mr. Cuevas was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Diana Cooper and Sylvia Butler; grandsons, Robert Perez, Ryan Perez, and Nicholas Butler; and sister, Linda Cuevas.

The family thanks the doctors and nurses and anyone else who was kind and caring to him while he was in their care. Special thanks go to Dr. George Stovall, Cindy Stovall, Dr. Parks of Providence Hospital and Dr. Lawrence Schiller of Dallas.
