Robert A. Geisler

Robert Adrian Geisler, 81, of Waco, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, at OakCrest Funeral Home, with Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.
Bob was born in Corpus Christi to Bert and Lillian (Baldwin) Geisler, and later moved to Waco where he graduated from Waco High School. He married Marcella Ann Gerik in Abbott on November 9, 1963. He owned and operated Geisler Plumbing for 60 years. He was a longtime member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two brothers, Kenneth Geisler of Waco and Walter Geisler of Tyler.
He is survived by his caregiver, Angelica Martinez and her husband, Flavio, and their family; sisters-in-law, Gerrie Geisler of Waco, Shirley Geisler of Tyler, Mary Trice and Margie Goldberg, both of Waco, Edith Cernosek and Lucille Lednicky of West, Betty Stanislav of Plano, Nancy Stenseth of North Dakota; brothers-in-law, Edwin Gerik of Whitney and Jerry Gerik of Aquilla; and many nieces and nephews.
