Robert Hering

Robert E. Hering, 69, of Waco passed away Saturday, November 29, 2003 at his residence.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home with burial at Waco Memorial Park.

Visitation will be on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Robert was born on April 13, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Howard and Christianna (Rhodes) Hering. He was united in marriage to Nancy Glaeser on November 21, 1959. Robert served in the United States Army and was a member of the Hewitt First Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his wife Nancy of Waco; sons, David Alan Hering and wife Joann of New Jersey; Robert Alan Hering of Waco and Kenneth Alan Hering and wife Cathy of Alvord; daughter, Beth Ann Cockerham and husband Jay of Waco; grandchildren, Trey, Brittany, Tyler and Courtney Cockerham, Cooper, Carson, Camdyn and Kayden Hering.
