Robert H. (Bob) Lievens, 91, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2007 at Wesley Woods. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the St. Louis Catholic Church by Father David Leibham with Father Albert LaForet as concelebrant. Burial with military honors will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd, at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, led by Father Albert. Visitation with the family will follow afterwards.

Bob was born July 1, 1915 to Jules and Marie (Huyghe) in Erie Michigan. The family moved to La Feria Texas in 1922. Bob served his country for 4 ½ years in World War II, and retired from the US Postal Service in 1979 after 39 years service.

He was married to Lillian Psencik in 1944 in Smithville, Texas. The family moved to Waco in 1965. He was a member of St Louis Parish, Knights of Columbus, VFW 2148 and KJT Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jerome, Harold and Howard; sister Martha, and brother-in-law, Noble Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian; two daughters, Rita Harris of Austin, Marcy and Mike Woodward of Katy; two sons, Robert of Phoenix and Jim and Kay of Edom; two sisters, Agnes and Wey Kenny of Wichita Kansas, Marion and Gene Raulie of Cedar Park; three sisters-in-law, Lillian Lievens, Betty Lievens, Rosemary Lievens; nine grandchildren, Daniel Lievens, Bert and, Brian Harris, Garrett, Marie, Robert and Grace Woodward, Jonnie and Frank Russell, Brandy and Billy Engle; six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Lievens, Bert Harris, Brian Harris, Garrett Woodward, Robert Woodward, and Drew Russell.
