Robert Shirley

Robert Floyd Shirley, 79 of Waco, passed away on Wednesday, March 05, 2008 at his residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Mansen officiating. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling, WV. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Robert was born March 7, 1928 in Wheeling, WV to Floyd and Freda Shirley. He was a loving father that was a friend to all his children. He was preceded in death by son, Mark Shirley and step-daughter, Lori Fenske.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Pam Faust and husband, Ed of Fayetteville, AK and Amanda Bergh and husband, Dave of Houston; sons, Keith Shirley and wife, Tracey of Cedar Hill and Robert H. Shirley and wife, Amanda of Celina; step-daughter, Sheila Richardson and husband, Ken and special friend, Jo Ann Skinner of Waco. He also leaves behind many special friends that he treasured.
