Robert Steinke

Robert E. Steinke, 93, of Mart died Wednesday June 11, 2003 at his residence.

Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, June 13, 2003, at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B.J. Williams officiating with burial in the Meiers Settlement Cemetery near Riesel.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Robert was born on August 6, 1909 in Falls County to Emil and Bertha (Lauder) Steinke. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara on August 9, 1992.

He is survived by his daughter Betty Walts and husband James; grandsons, Bradley Walts and special friend Jennifer, Kirk Walts and special friend Amy all of Mart.

Pallbearers will be Leroy Behringer, Robert Stelter, Milford Behringer, Don Seawright, John Nottingham and Lonnie Roy Nottingham.

He was a loving father, grandfather and friend.
