Robert (Bobby) Overton White, 55, born August 13, 1952, died May 22, 2008 in Waco, Texas.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Morgan and LeMoyne M.White of Magnolia, AR.

Survivors

He is survived by his sister, Tommie Sue Smith of Bloomington, MN and husband Bill; brother Max White of Hot Springs Village, AR and wife Barbara; three nephews, Ken, Paul, and Jeff Smith. Also surviving are an Uncle and Aunt, John and Norma DeLoach, an Uncle Delmus Black of Magnolia, AR, and cousins. His former wife, Kris Jimenez, lives in Commerce City, CO. Long-time friend, Christine Matz, lives in Round Rock, TX.

Mr. White served 4½ years in the US Air Force, which included a tour in Germany. After obtaining a degree in Criminal Justice from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA, he moved to Harlingen, Texas in 1987 to start his career as a Revenue Officer with Internal Revenue Service. He transferred to Waco, Texas in 1994.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.

Bob enjoyed football season, fantasy football, building computers, deep sea fishing, watching American Idol with MaryAnn Howard and Friday night outings with Baker Reiss and Phelps Brookshire.

Services

The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 27 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Robert E. Weston from Northminster Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, TX.

In Magnolia, the family will be at 820 Sue Street. Graveside service will be at Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29.

Memorials

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Waco Humane Society Medical Fund, 2032 Circle Rd, Waco, TX 76706.
