Roberto Garcia

Roberto Garcia, 61, of Waco, passed away September 13, 2020 in Waco, Texas. Funeral mass will be said 10 am on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Waco. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park in Waco.

He was born June 2, 1959 at Rio Grande Zacatecas Mexico. Around the age of 19 years he ventured off to the U.S. Here he has found a multitude of jobs ranging from ranch work, to interior home painting, to construction work, floor fitter, and a cook. All in all he had a jack of all trades persona.
After a couple of years in the Waco area he met his wife of 37 years, Maria Collazo whom was also from his hometown of La Luz.

Roberto was a remarkable man, a modest, caring man, a loving husband who adored his time with his 6 children, 12 grand-children and 4 sons-in-law.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Maria, and children, Minerva, Leonela, Diana, Kevin, Melissa, and Noel.
Pallbearers will be Martin Collazo, Herman Castaneda, Elutero Garcia, Angel Garcia, Silvano Garcia, and Manuel Garcia.

Honorary pallbearers will be Alonso Longoria and Rodolfo Longoria.

Family would like to extend a special thanks to all family and friends that couldn’t be here in person but have provided so much assistance. Also to Rick and Ace Gallegos and the entire Bush’s store in Hewitt who have shown him so much love and affection through out these 15 years of employment.
