Robin Tipton, 55, of Waco, passed away on August 23, 2021 at her home unexpectedly after a
prolonged battle with Covid-19. A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 4, in the
Chapel at Highland Baptist Church, 3014 Maple Ave, Waco, Texas with Rev. Mark Wible officiating.
Robin was born March 15, 1966, in Houston, Texas to Gee and Gloriann Ray. She graduated from
Robinson High School in 1984. After high school, she attended Texas A&M and graduated in 1988
with a Bachelor of Science.
In October 1995, she married the love of her life, Charles Tipton, of Waco.
Robin dedicated her life to her husband and daughter, Karys. She homeschooled her daughter, was
very active in the homeschool organizations GWCHE and Faith, Family and Friends Co-op.
Robin was also active at Highland Baptist Church for forty-five years. She taught children's Sunday
School and VBS. She also worked in the nursery for many years.
She enjoyed cooking, crafting, and laughing with her friends. Robin is known for her memorable laugh
and soft heart. She never failed to make everyone feel that they were loved.
She was preceded in her death by her father, George (Gee) Ray and her mother, Gloriann Ray.
Survivors include her beloved husband Charles, pride and joy of her life, daughter Karys, adopted
daughter Alyssa Kemp, adopted grand-daughter Ada James Kemp, and her brothers Michael Ray and
Ron Ray
