Robyn Neel

Robyn Lee Neel, loving mother to five children and longtime Wacoan, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the age of 56. A memorial service will be held at Family Worship Center Sunday, April 25th at 2:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, April 3rd, Easter Weekend.

Robyn was born August 5, 1964 in Houston, Texas to Mary and Henry Steinkamp Jr. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Baylor University in 1986, and was a Realtor in the greater Waco area.

Robyn was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Judy. She is survived by her children Jonathan, Joshua, Emily, Benjamin, and Brian; the father of her children, Kenneth Neel; and her sisters, Jerry and Linda. Robyn greatly enjoyed homeschooling her children for many years and was involved in the homeschool community through Greater Waco Christian Home Educators. While homeschooling, Robyn learned Latin, then taught middle school Latin at Brazos Valley Co-op and Waco Baptist Academy. Later in life, she became a Realtor in Waco and was devoted to serving her clients. In addition to her real estate business, Robyn was an active member of a Business Networking International (BNI) group in Waco and a women's prayer group where she had many dear friends.

Robyn was a determined woman of great faith. She placed her trust in Jesus Christ and exhorted her friends and family to pursue a relationship with Him. She loved spending time worshiping God, reading the Word and praying. Her faith for the impossible never wavered and she carried a spirit of gratefulness. Her favorite teachings included those by Andrew Wommack and Todd White, and some of her musical favorites included I Will Follow by Chris Tomlin and O Come to the Altar by Elevation Worship.

Robyn was loved by many, and her legacy of faith is the cherished gift she left for those she loved. Go walk with the Father in His garden, enjoying His presence and resting in His arms of love.
