He married Mary Collier on November 23, 1968 and they have lived in Waco since 1974 and was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church. Dale was at the Buckner Childrens Home for several years

Dale loved and depended on our Lord Jesus Christ. His Bible was well worn. Circumstances in Dale’s life might have caused others to feel bitterness or self-pity, but not him. When he couldn’t keep up with the days, he still was able to read God’s Word. He had a servant’s heart! His last words were “For God so loved the world.” He met his Savior hearing some of his favorite Psalms.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Rankin, Delwin Peacock, Robert Borchgardt, Jeff Looper, Matt Harkins
and Ron Beverly.
