Roger Edward Bruning, 78, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2014 at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 -8 p.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Roger Edward Bruning was born March 28, 1936 to Rueben and Mildred Jussilla Bruning, in Detroit, Michigan. He joined the United States Air Force at an early age and would serve his country for 12 years. Roger then worked for the United States Postal Service for 6 years until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors very much, hunting and fishing were his favorites. Roger will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Deborah Sue Bruning.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Sue Bruning.
