Ronald D. Conaway

Ronald Dale Conaway, of Waco, Texas, passed away at his residence on October 24, 2023. Ronald was born on August 22, 1952, to Ernest and Dora Conaway. He attended schools in Waco, TX and upon graduation from University High School, moved to Ft. Worth, TX where he managed a drive-in theater.

Ronald enlisted in the US Army in 1975 where he was a Stenographer, spending most of his time in Germany. After his military service ended in 1978, Ronald worked for the Veterans Administration Regional Office in Waco for 34 years in a IT Support Specialist role. Ronald had a very close group of friends with whom he enjoyed spending time with.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Russell Conaway.

Surviving him are his sister, Paula Nichols and her husband, Jim, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. in Waco on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 6pm with the funeral service following at 7pm.
