Ronnie Len Gilbert, 19 of Waco passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2006 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Graveside services will be 10am Wednesday at Waco Memorial Park with Larry Felkner officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm on Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Ronnie was born on June 2, 1986 in Weatherford. He enjoyed working at Jerry Steven's Firestone and playing on motorcycles and dune buggies. He lived his short life to the fullest, his way. But the most precious thing to him was being Bobo to his beloved niece Cierra.
He is survived by his parents, Debra and Brad Patterson of Waco; father, Roney Gilbert and wife Jeannine of Georgia; sisters, Paula Gilbert and Megan Patterson of Waco; niece, Cierra Gilbert of Waco; grandparents, Lamar and Mary Covington of Alabama and Marge Patterson of Eddy and Martha Tipton of Rosebud; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is loved and will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Jerry Stevens Firestone to help with expenses.
