Roosevelt Anderson, 76, of Waco, passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2010. Viewing will be 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at OakCrest Funeral Home, followed by a Wake Service from 4 to 6 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Weaver officiating. A graveside service will be announced later.
Roosevelt was born July 6, 1934, to the late George and Allie (Austin) Anderson. He met Clara Mae Turner and they were married Sept. 29, 1958.
He was preceded in death by his wife May 5, 2006; and by a sister, Loretta Anderson.
He is survived by three sisters; a brother; five lovely daughters, Rosetta Anderson, Sharon Anderson, Tammy Anderson Manigo, Bridgett Shores and husband, Eugene, and Verna Anderson; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends
