Rosa Avila passed away on Saturday February 9th, to be with our Lord and Savior.
A Graveside Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Old Perry Cemetery in Moody, TX.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at OakCrest Funeral Home 4520 Bosque Blvd. Waco, TX.
She was born on January 10, 1935 in Yorktown, Texas. She lived in Moody, TX since she was 16 years old.
She was preceded her in death by her husband, Pablo Avila.
She had six children and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was a woman of God with a heart of gold she was filled with love, joy and kindness. She was the shining light of our family. She was full of love and kindness. She had this way of holding your face close to her that the love just poured out of her. She loved to sing and dance, but most of all she just loved being surrounded by her family. She lived a simple but fulfilled and happy life. Her life was a blessing, her memory will be treasured, and she is loved beyond measure.
