Rossia Marie Gipson, 27, of Waco, passed away September 15, 2009.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church by Father David Leibham. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Capital Parks Cemetery in Austin.

Rosary will be recited 4 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, followed at 4:30 p.m. by visitation with her family.

Rossia was born November 5, 1981 in Austin. She was a very strong person, who despite a life-long disability, lived life to its fullest. She graduated from high school and was working on her college degree. Rossia was very loved by her family: She showed us all how to be happy.

She is survived by her mother, Denise Salubi and husband, Oba, of Waco; father, Ronnie Gipson and wife, Cheryl, of Austin; brother, Jarred Salubi; sister, Rume' Salubi, both of Waco; half-brother, Junior Gibson of Austin; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Brown of Austin; aunts, Mary Lawrence and husband, Clyde and Charlene Lawrence and husband, Carl, all of Austin; uncle, Joseph R. Lave of Livingston; and cousins, Nicole Jones, and Dylan and Dorian Joseph, all of Houston.

Pallbearers will be Oba Salubi, Jarred Salubi, Rume`Salubi, Maurien Flood, and Sedric Flood.
